Origins

The understanding that foaming cleansers remove the natural oils from the skin, and personal experience with skin irritation caused by mainstream products led to the development of this product.

History

Joining the Galaxy Aromatherapy range in 2006-2007, Citrus Cream Cleanser has been popular as a makeup remover/cleanser, for use by young, middle-aged and older people, those with sensitive skin, as an all-over-the-body cleanser for dry skin, and to aid cleansing of the hands after gardening and other outdoor work.

Ingredients

Manuka hydrosol, apricot kernel oil, vegetable based emulsifying wax, Totarol k7, rosemary antioxidant & sweet orange, lemon and lime essential oils.

Texture

 A smooth, white, creamy lotion, this goes on silky smooth.

Fragrance

An uplifting aroma of citrus, with herb-like undertones of manuka hydrosol.

Use

A drop the size of an old 5c coin is plenty for the face and neck. Add more for larger areas - but only a little at a time - you'll be surprised how little you need when added to damp skin. Gently massage straight into dry skin for a deeper cleanse, or to damp skin for a lighter cleanse. Remove excess with a soft cloth, rinse well, dry, tone and finish with a good quality natural moisturiser.

Recommendations for storage

Store in a cool, dark place....somewhere which stays cool all the time (bathrooms and heated rooms not advised). If possible, store it in the fridge for a longer shelf life. Keep the lid fastened properly when not being used.

Safety

Safe for use with babies over 6 months (not on the hands or face) through to the elderly. Generally non-irritating, but a patch test is advised for people with sensitive skin. Avoid using prior to exposure to the sun.
