In aromatherapy, the above conditions are treated with different methods of application, depending which is best suited to the condition you have. For example, muscular tension and stress usually respond best to massage, for colds and coughs; steam inhalations and application of blends to the chest, back and throat, tinea; foot baths and/or cream for application to the affected area, digestive problems; application to the stomach area, often also with massage and heat, for skin problems; a compress to the affected area and creams can be very helpful, and so on.
