Skin Relief Product Profile

Origins

Skin Relief came into being in August 2020, when a customer was wanting a cream to relieve an inflammatory skin condition.

History

The original customer reported excellent results, and until early 2023, has been the main user of this product (we've also used it occasionally to soothe irritated skin). In February 2023, demand peaked, with a number of customers experiencing similar issues they were having difficulty finding products for, which worked. This lead to it being added to our range.

Ingredients

Lavender hydrosol, calendula infused and evening primrose oils, plant-based emulsifying wax & glycerin, shea butter, Microcare DB, aloe vera extract, rosemary antioxidant & bergamot, lavender true, Indian sandalwood, yarrow, everlasting, juniper berry & carrot seed essential oils.

Texture

Soothing, light and buttery all at the same time, this product goes on beautifully, so you won't need to apply much. It nourishes and cools the skin, without leaving a greasy residue.

Fragrance

The complex blend of ingredients and essential oils in Skin Relief give it an interesting herbal, earthy aroma.

Use

Created to soothe irritated or inflamed skin, and containing ingredients well-known for this, this cream has a wide range of uses. One of my personal favourites is when I have itchy arms/hands after I've been in the garden. Always patch test before use. Start with 1/4 teaspoon, increasing this amount if necessary. Applications/day will vary between individuals. For free recommendations drop us a line.

Recommendations for storage

Store in a cool, dark place....somewhere which stays cool all the time (bathrooms and heated rooms not advised). If possible, store it in the fridge for a longer shelf life. Keep the lid fastened properly when not being used, and use a sterile teaspoon to get it out of the jar.
