Origins

Created in February 2014 when mosquitos were biting constantly, and I needed to find a product to ease the bites I was covered in. Like all Galaxy Aromatherapy products, this needed to be a plant-based product with a natural aroma.

History

Itchless has been used with great success by men and women of all ages, to soothe sandfly, mosquito, March fly and other minor bites, and minor burns. Itchless is also soothing for those prone to irritated skin after being exposed to an allergen. If there's also dryness with your skin condition, you may find Skin Calm or Skin Relief more helpful. Safe for babies over 6 months, and pregnant women.

Ingredients

Chamomile infusion, lavender hydrosol, calendula oil, sclerotium gum, Microcare DB, lavender true, East Cape manuka & German chamomile essential oils, aloe vera extract & rosemary antioxidant.

Texture

Itchless has a thick gel consistency, but it goes on easily. Dries quickly on the skin.

Fragrance

A gentle, herbal aroma which soothes the nerves as it eases itches and burns.

Use

Apply sparingly to minor bites and burns - a little goes a long way. Repeat as needed. For burns, do the usual cold water treatment first, and if you've been stung, ensure the sting has been removed. Seek medical attention for severe bites, stings or burns.

Recommendations for storage

Store in a cool, dark place....somewhere which stays cool all the time (bathrooms and heated rooms not advised). If possible, keep it in the fridge for a longer shelf life. Ensure the lid is fastened properly when not being used. Storing it in the fridge will make it extra soothing for bites and burns.
