* Hand sanitiser is the second best option for protecting yourself from bacteria and viruses. When you have the choice, always wash your hands with warm soapy water. This blend is not suitable as a total replacement for proper hand sanitiser, but works well with alcohol and aloe vera based recipes. Recommended dilution is 2.5% eg 25 drops in 50ml of the base product. Hand sanitiser must include a minimum of 60% alcohol to be effective. 70-75% is recommended for a hand sanitiser which is guaranteed to work. If you're making your own hand sanitiser do plenty of research first as many recipes recommended online won't work. Check out popsci for a recipe recommended by the World Health Organisation.
