Buzz Off was created to prevent insect bites when outdoors, for those wanting a plant-based alternative or unable to use mainstream products due to sensitivities.

History

Buzz Off was developed in late 2011, to add a natural insect repellent to our range. The aim was to create a product with an appealing aroma, as an alternative to nasty-smelling mainstream synthetic insect repellents. It has since been used with outstanding results, to deter mosquitos, sandflies, horseflies, houseflies and more.

Ingredients

Distilled water, plant based solubiliser and red thyme, lemongrass, lavender true and peppermint essential oils.

Texture

Liquid, with a slight stickiness, and slightly bubbly when shaken.

Fragrance

A refreshing herbal, lemon-mint aroma.

Use

Before you go to the beach, out in the garden, for a walk, playing sport, camping or any other outside activities. Reapply every few hours/after swimming or physical activity. May also help to soothe bites. Do a patch test on a small area of skin before spraying over large areas.

Recommendations for storage

Best refrigerated or somewhere which stays cool all the time (bathrooms and heated rooms not advised). Storing in cool temperatures helps to prevent early deterioration of the natural ingredients, which are prone to oxidation (reacting with oxygen, which leads to it spoiling).
