Origins

Autumn essential oil blend is made to help you adjust from warm to cool months, with essential oils known for their motivating, uplifting and antimicrobial properties.

History

First developed in April 2014, Autumn was reformulated in early 2022, to make it suitable for use on the skin when diluted, and boost its' cold, flu and cough-busting properties. Until now this blend has been used in burners and diffusers to keep the immune system strong and soothe symptoms when you get a cold or flu, aid motivation and generally lift the mood.

Ingredients

Mandarin, cedarwood atlas, cardamom, black pepper, eucalyptus citriodora, red thyme, Scotch pine and myrrh essential oils.

Texture

Liquid essential oil blend.

Fragrance

A warm, mildly sweet blend with citrus top notes, and herbal, medicinal and spicy middle and base notes. This blend develops beautifully when warmed in a diffuser or on the skin.

Use

To lift your mood, motivate or combat cold/flu, add 3 drops to your diffuser, vaporiser or burner (for an average sized room), or dilute 5 drops into 10ml your choice of good quality vegetable oil for use as a chest rub.

Recommendations for storage

Best refrigerated, or as an alternative, somewhere which stays cool all the time (bathrooms and heated rooms aren’t suitable). Storing in cool temperatures helps to prevent early deterioration of the natural ingredients, which are prone to oxidation (reaction with oxygen, which leads to deterioration of the product).

Safety

Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly with warm soapy water after handling and keep them away from the eyes. Do not use undiluted. If it comes into contact with the skin, apply plain vegetable oil to dilute, then wash thoroughly with warm soapy water.
